Sulaiman Alrajhi University organised an educational awareness exhibition in the university foyer on Sunday morning, coinciding with World Diabetes Day, which falls on 14 November each year, under the slogan “We learn to protect our future”. The exhibition was aimed at university staff and students, with the participation of male and female students of the health colleges.
The exhibition included specialised awareness corners intended to promote health awareness and establish a culture of diabetes prevention through healthy food, regular physical activity and maintaining a normal weight, in addition to a corner for on-the-spot medical screening to measure blood sugar levels.
The exhibition was organised in line with the University's mission to carry out its national and health role by launching initiatives that contribute to improving quality of life, raising health awareness and supporting the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 towards building a healthier and more sustainable society.
