The Sulaiman Alrajhi Endowment An impact that reaches across generations

An innovative and sustainable endowment founded by Sheikh Sulaiman Alrajhi to empower individuals and communities and build a better life, drawing on the Islamic values of giving and development. It holds two principal arms — charitable and investment — from which development institutions branch out, foremost among them Sulaiman Alrajhi University, in step with Saudi Vision 2030.

A journey from the first testamentary deed in 1407 AH to the launch of the institutional identity.

  2. 1417 AH1996An endowment deed covering some real-estate assets and company shares
  3. 1420 AH1999The Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Alrajhi Endowments Foundation is established
  4. 1421 AH2000The Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Alrajhi Charitable Foundation is established
  5. 1430 AH2009Assets are inventoried, the estate divided, and the endowment’s establishment begins — and Sulaiman Alrajhi University is founded in Al-Bukayriyah
  6. 1432 AH2011The endowment deed is issued and the holding company established
  7. 1442 AH2021The identity of the endowment and the holding company is launched
