As part of its commitment to digital transformation and to improving the quality of education, Sulaiman Alrajhi University has activated its digital education system within its participation in the National Digital Education Index 2024–2025, launched by the National Center for E-Learning to measure the maturity of educational institutions in adopting digital education practices efficiently and sustainably.
The activation of digital education is one of the main dimensions of the national index, covering the application of distance education, blended learning and technology-enhanced education models, in line with the needs of beneficiaries and in a way that raises the level of reliance on digital education.
The University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, explained that the activation comes in line with the Kingdom's direction towards building an integrated digital education system, noting that the University has adopted a comprehensive plan to activate digital education that includes content development, training of academic staff, and the provision of a smart learning environment that supports the university student's experience.
This activation strengthens the University's position among the educational institutions keeping pace with the national digital transformation, and contributes to achieving beneficiary satisfaction, applying governance practices, raising spending efficiency, and employing artificial intelligence to improve the learning experience, according to the national report.
The University affirms that this step represents a qualitative shift in its academic journey and opens new horizons towards sustainable digital education in line with the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
