The Campus Life Directorate, represented by the Leadership and Public Speaking Club, organised a public speaking competition to mark the conclusion of the first project before the launch of the next training project, with the participation of more than 15 students, held at the University theatre.
The competition included six varied tracks covering prepared speeches, evaluation speeches and impromptu speeches, in both Arabic and English.
The competition featured a distinctive competitive atmosphere that reflected the marked development in the public speaking skills of club members who had successfully completed the requirements of the first training level. The event aimed to highlight their abilities and to provide an opportunity to compete in a professional and organised environment.
At the close of the competition, and under the supervision of a specialised judging panel, the winners of the first three places in each branch were honoured, with cash prizes exceeding SAR 5000, in addition to certificates of appreciation presented to outstanding participants.
Those placing first are scheduled to represent the Leadership and Public Speaking Club in the upcoming competitions at the level of the Al-Qassim region, amid hopes of continuing to qualify and representing Sulaiman Alrajhi University at the level of the Kingdom.
