Sulaiman Alrajhi University and the Al Twaijri Family Fund have concluded a cooperation agreement to provide educational services under the “Silah Initiative for Educational Scholarships”.
The agreement was signed on behalf of the University by the University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, and on behalf of the Fund by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mohammed Fahad Al Twaijri, with the aim of strengthening investment in quality education and supporting young national talent.
The partnership seeks to provide comprehensive educational scholarships for outstanding students among the family’s sons and daughters. The scholarships cover full tuition fees in vital fields of national priority, and provide an integrated educational environment that develops students’ skills and prepares them as future leaders who meet the needs of the labour market.
This cooperation stems from the targets of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing human capabilities and strengthening the developmental role of family funds in supporting human capital.
Under the terms of the agreement, which runs for three years and is renewable, the University undertakes to provide study places and to offer enrichment programmes and a range of student activities, in addition to following up students’ academic achievement and submitting periodic reports to the Fund.
In return, the Al Twaijri Family Fund is responsible for communicating with students to meet admission and registration requirements in accordance with the University’s regulations, approving the final lists of accepted candidates by an official letter that includes a commitment to the financial contribution rate until graduation, and transferring the financial costs to the University.
