The University received a delegation from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Al-Qassim region, headed by the branch's Director General, Mr. Khalid Saleh Alkhadar. The delegation was received by the University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, and a number of University leaders.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed mechanisms for implementing the memorandum of understanding to strengthen medical and emergency services and to raise the competence of national personnel, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
Areas of cooperation included training and educational programmes, participation in local and national occasions, support for research, and the organisation of seminars in medical fields.
The Authority's delegation also made a field tour of the University's facilities, including the innovation and three-dimensional printing laboratory and the Training Center accredited by the American Heart Association.
