The University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, inaugurated the Values Ambassadors Initiative in the presence of a number of the University's leaders and faculty.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by 327 male and female students, among them 53 male and female values ambassadors. The initiative forms part of the University's efforts to embed the university values system, build well-rounded character, and link values to academic life and to professional pathways. The programme included segments addressing the importance of values and their standing in our true religion, and their role in raising the standard of individual and institutional conduct.
At the close of the ceremony, the values ambassadors were presented with medals in recognition of their role and their responsibility in representing the values system within the university environment.
The inauguration was also accompanied by introductory stands addressing values and their standing, their connection to academic life, and their bearing on the start of a professional career. The event concluded with the Values Compliance stand, which highlighted the importance of translating values from their theoretical framework into practical applications and real behaviours.
This is the ninth initiative under the University's values and national identity strategy, affirming its commitment to strengthening compliance with values and embedding national identity, in a way that contributes to fulfilling its noble mission of building the individual.
