The University celebrated International Nurses Day through an event organised by the Nursing Club in the University lobby, attended by the University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, the Dean College of Nursing, Dr. Talal Ali F. AlBeshri, and University staff.
The event included a number of awareness corners and practical demonstrations in which students of the College of Nursing explained the core skills of nursing, in a way that strengthens practical understanding of the profession, embeds the concepts of quality and safety in health care, and raises the level of health awareness among those attending.
The event forms part of the University's efforts to support health and awareness activities with community impact and to strengthen students' readiness in the field.
