The University Council held its seventh meeting of the academic year 1447 AH, chaired by the University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, during which it discussed a number of academic and organisational topics on its agenda. The Council addressed a number of important files, most notably the University's strategic directions and certain regulations, as well as the tuition fees for some of the University's programmes, in a manner that supports the development of the academic and administrative environment and raises the efficiency of institutional performance. The Council also reviewed a number of initiatives that would strengthen the University's progress and contribute to achieving its mission and strategic objectives, in line with its aspirations towards excellence in education, scientific research and community service.
