Sulaiman Alrajhi University has obtained the Emergency Safety Compliance Certificate from the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, after achieving a full score in the compliance standards and meeting all approved requirements, according to the results of the inspection and technical assessment carried out by the Authority.

The Director General of the Authority's branch in Al-Qassim region, Mr. Khalid Saleh Al-Khadr, presented the certificate to the University President, Dr. Muhammad A. Al-Mohaimeed, during a ceremony held today at the University.

Last month the University carried out an emergency safety drill centred on the use of automated external defibrillators (AED) and on training university staff in how to use them, contributing to raising the level of health awareness, strengthening readiness to respond to emergency cases, and speeding up the delivery of first aid to casualties.

The University also organised a number of training courses in cooperation with the Authority, aimed at its students and staff, with the aim of developing their skills in dealing with emergency cases and strengthening their ability to provide first aid and respond rapidly to incidents.

These efforts form part of the University's commitment to strengthening the health and safety system, spreading a culture of first aid, and raising the level of readiness to deal with emergency cases.
